Soccer - AYSO - Fall 2023 - Fall I 2023

The AYSO program is for players ages 9-18 years old. Bryn Mawr teams compete with AYSO 3T Area community  (see aysoarea3t.org for more info). Home games are played at Welty field, away games are at opponents field. Parents are responsible for player transport to away games. 

Online Registration open on June 25. Fees are $125 early-bird (from7/15) and $175 (till 8/26). Players 9-12 that play In-house Intramural Soccer get discount for AYSO sign-up. Please contact soccer@brynmawr.org for details and code.

 IMPORTANT: The fee INCLUDES a uniform. For players in U10, U12 & U14... If you have a Spring '23 uniform you can reuse it. Just apply discount code 'NO UNIFORM' when signing up. If you opt out of a uniform and later need one, the club cant guarantee you will have one in time to start playing.

Frequently Asked Questions
  • How old does the player have to be?: Current AYSO program is for players13-18 years of age. Younger divisions will be added .
  • Where are games played?: HOME games at Welty field (Barton road, Yonkers). AWAY games will be played on participating AYSO field in the lower Hudson valley. You must arrange transport for your player to the away games.
  • How many games are played per season?: The AYSO program offers a maximum of 8 games. There could be less if there are byes, or canceled games due to bad weather.
  • Who will be coaching my player?: All coaches are volunteer parents or relatives who have knowledge of the game. We emphasize learning soccer through practice and participating in weekly games
  • When./where do practices take place?: Practices are typically at Welty field or nearby sports fields. Practice days and times are schedule based on the volunteer coaches availability, typically weekdays after 6PM or Saturdays.
  • Who can volunteer to coach a team?: Parent or other relatives with knowledge of the game. Must be 20 and older to coach these teams.
  • What is the time commitment to coach?: Each coach is required to have one or two practice a week, typically an hour at their own schedule and should attend each game or get a parent to fill in.
  • Where can I find a game schedule?: The game schedule will be posted online after the teams are formed by the coaches, typically a few weeks before the season starts. ALL games are played on Sunday.
